Walk Against Hunger

Stroehmann Walk + Run Against Hunger
We kicked off our Kick Hunger campaign with a walk around Philadelphia. The Stroehmann Walk Against Hunger was held on Saturday April 12, 2014 and started at the Philadelphia Art Museum. The 5K course was beautiful and scenic and you could walk or run. The walk was started to raise hunger awareness. Hunger affects a lot of people all over the country but also right in our neighborhoods. Did you know that about 1 in 4 people in Philadelphia are in need of food and struggle with hunger? You can help though. Visit www.hungerwalk.org for more information or stop by your local ACME store to make a donation to the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger.
