Philadoptables

Two Philadelphia ACME stores will partner with Philadelphia non-profit, Philadoptables, to help feed Center City dogs and cats. On Saturday, January 24th from 10am-4pm, you can drop by the ACME store at 1400 East Passyunk Ave or 1901 Johnston Street to donate a can or box or dog or cat food to help stock the pet pantry at the Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Team (ACCT Philly).

ACCT Philly is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider, serving the City of Philadelphia by contract. ACCT Philly manages the city’s animal shelter facility in North Philadelphia handling nearly 28,000 animals, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife, annually. ACCT Philly is open each and every day of the year for pet adoptions.

ACCT Philly’s mission is to provide shelter, care and life saving efforts for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals and protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Philadelphia, providing a benefit to all of the citizens of the City regardless of race or economic status.

Philadoptables provides support for adoption, welfare, and outreach programs that benefit the 30,000+ animals received each year by the Philadelphia Animal Control Shelter, the Delaware Valley Region’s largest open-door municipal animal shelter.

They are the only non-profit organization dedicated entirely to Philadelphia’s animal control shelter.

So drop by a Philadelphia ACME and help out Center City dogs and cats.

Hey Lori, there is no need to print the coupons with MyMixx. Once they are “clipped” to your account, just enter your MyMixx phone number at the register and they are automatically applied to your purchase. ~Mikayla
