Spring is in the air, which means it’s time to add a pop of color to your fruit bowls and a burst of flavor to your dishes.

The zest, the outer layer of citrus fruit, contains scented essential oils that add wonderful flavor to certain dishes and can naturally intensify the flavor of specific ingredients. Add them to salads, dressings, juice, desserts, and more.

Citrus can help preserve the color and texture of cut apples, pears, peaches, and bananas that brown once they are cut.
