Marinate and grill beef steaks, 1/2 in thick cook 4-6 minutes, 3/4 in thick cook 7-10 minutes, 1 in thick cook 10-14 minutes, 1-1/2 in thick cook 15-20 minutes. With a fork, pierce both sides of steak. Place in a bag with a marinade, to coat. Refrigerate for 6-24 hours turning once. Discard marinade. Grill uncovered over medium coals or on gas grill on medium high, or broil 3-4 in from element. Cook to desired doneness medium rare (135 F) to medium (145 F), turning halfway through. 1.
