Directions Remove pouch from box. Cut pouch as illustrated on box. To prepare Swiss Knight Fondue, just open according to instructions on end panel and place contents in a heavy saucepan or double boiler. Heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour mixture into a chafing dish or fondue pot to keep Swiss Knight Fondue boiling hot. Microwave: To prepare Swiss Knight Fondue, just open according to instructions on end panel and place contents in a microwave-safe dish or bowl. Heat at High power for 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Pour mixture into a chafing dish or fondue pot to keep Swiss Knight Fondue boiling hot. Storage Tip: To extend the normal shelf life of this product store in your refrigerator. This product may be frozen. Thaw in a bain-marie or in the refrigerator (not in the microwave). Directions to Serve: Dip pieces of crusty French bread into the fondue stirring each time. For a change substitute cubes of cooked ham or smoked meat for the pieces of bread. Flavor Variation: Spicy Fondue: Rub the inside of the chafing dish with a cut clove of garlic and add a dash of nutmeg. Or add a dew drops of Tabasco for real zest. Curried Fondue: Stir in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon curry powder. Fondue Diable: Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard. Onion Fondue Dip: Add 1/4 cup heavy cream and 2 tablespoons dehydrated onion soup mix. Reheat and serve.
