Directions Consume only after cooking. Basic Amaranth: Ingredients: 3 cups cold water. 2 cups Arrowhead Mills Amaranth. Cooking Instructions: Put amaranth and water in saucepan with lid. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Grains will absorb water and bind together. Makes 3 cups. Being thousands of years old doesn't keep Amaranth, an ancient grain, from combining with other ingredients to create delicious flavorful soups, breads and even dressings. Store in a cool dry place.
