Directions Cooking: 1. Bring one gallon of water to a boil. 2. If desired, add one tablespoon of salt to boiling water. 3. To cook al dente (The words al dente are an Italian term to describe firmly cooked pasta), place rotini into boiling water and stir occasionally for 8 minutes. 4. Drain in a colander, do not rinse, serve immediately with your favorite sauce.
