Frosting : 1/3 cup butter, softened. 2 cups powdered sugar. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. 1 to 2 tablespoons milk. Food coloring, if desired. Directions: In small bowl, beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Beat in food color, if desired. Heat oven to 375 degrees F (or 350 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). Place cookie dough shapes about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Do not microwave cookie dough. Keep dough refrigerated. Lift tab to open. Best if used by.
