To make, you will need: contents of box + 12 oz heavy cream + 2 eggs + 1 stick (8 tbsp.) cold butter [optional: ½ cup currants or other dried fruit.] cooking instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Pour dry mix into mixing bowl and whisk to blend ingredients. 3. Cut 1 stick (8 tbsp.) cold butter into small pieces and blend into dry mix with your fingers until mix is crumbly. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 12 oz. Heavy cream and 2 eggs. Stir cream mixture into dry ingredients until just combined. The dough will not be overly sticky. For variety, ½ cup currants or other dried fruit may be added. 5. Form dough on floured board and flatten to 1-inch thickness. 6. Cut scones using 2½-inch biscuit cutter. 7. Place scones on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until light golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes and serve with butter, jam or your favorite toppings. Baking times may vary.
